School Business Manager
Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (32.5 hours per week), term time plus TD Days.
Start Date: May 2025

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced School Business Manager to join our wonderful and welcoming team at Bishopstone C of E Primary School.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate to lead and manage our school office. Day to day, you will support the headteacher in the operational management of the school, including contract management, health and safety, finance, and HR.
The successful candidate will play a strategic role in school development as well as being responsible for the day to day running of our admin team, personnel, procurement and facilities management.
They must be able to demonstrate excellent financial, analytical and administrative skills and be able to work effectively under pressure, giving attention to detail and accuracy.

Clerk to the Local Governing Body
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: NJC Grade 7: £14.53 - £15.64 per hour
Location: Bishopstone CE Primary School (in-person meetings)

About the Role
The Clerk to the Governing Body plays a key role in ensuring our school governance runs smoothly, efficiently, and in line with all statutory requirements. You will work closely with the Chair of Governors and the Headteacher, providing administrative support, procedural guidance, and ensuring all decisions are well-documented.
This role is vital to ensuring that our pupils receive the highest standard of education, as you will help keep the Governing Body focused on strategic school improvement.
