Dragonfly Class visit Swindon Museum for Anglo Saxon Workshop

We had a fantastic day at the Swindon Museum, consolidating our learning about the Anglo Saxons. The museum staff were very impressed with the children’s knowledge. The activities included handling Anglo Saxon artefacts and thinking about what they might teach historians as well as weaving, grinding wheat, writing in Runes and digging for artefacts like an archaeologist.
